Lady Meherbai Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
There are numerous applicants for this scholarship. The following are the cut-off points for those who seek to apply for this scholarship.
- Gender and Nationality: Graduates of Indian descent Females.
- Previous achievements: Excellent academic performance at a recognized institution of higher education
- Admissions/Admission Requirements: The aspiring candidates should have finished their bachelor’s study program and have the reports, including results. Candidates who wait for results are not eligible.
- Proof of Admission: Candidates must show they have applied for or been offered a place in accredited colleges in the US, UK, or Europe for the 2024-2025 academic years.
- Professional Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in relevant paid employment
Selection Process and Scholarship Details
- Interview: Shortlisted Candidates will receive an invitation for assessment, either online or in person, held by the Board of Trustees. This interview aims to gauge the candidate’s dedication.
- Scholarship Value: Chosen individuals will receive scholarships for tuition fees between 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs, depending upon how well the candidate performs in the interview.

- Briefly highlight the main attributes of the course and your selection criteria (6-7 lines).
- Order of preference for universities.
- Justify (about 4 lines) why you have picked the institution.
- What has been your admission status so far (confirmed, in principle, applied), and how much is the fee?
- Identify sources of funds specifying figures.
- What have you been up to? Provide a conciliatory piece for the activities described in 4-5 lines.
Document Submission
- Attach PDF, Word, or Excel files containing scanned copies of admission letters issued by Universities in order of preference with clearly visible symbols. Eternal links such as Google or other sites are NOT acceptable.
The selected candidates will receive an email from the Trust containing details regarding the interview procedures.
Crucial Points
- The scholarship is for applicants seeking education on a full-time basis only; applicants are not eligible for part-time studies, short programmes, undergraduate studies or courses delivered by distance learning. Moreover, candidates who have already started their coursework abroad or have applied to non-US, UK, or European countries are not eligible.
- While filling out the application forms, the candidates shall accept the trust privacy policies and consent to provide any relevant personal details necessary to evaluate their application.
